Mayor Rosamilia: Reminder to enjoy Troy during Food Truck Festival on May 16

May 07, 2014

TROY, NY – For the second consecutive year, the City of Troy will be hosting the Food Truck Festival of NY at Riverfront Park. The festival will take place on Friday, May 16, from 4 pm until 9 pm and looks to expand on last year’s event which featured 15 food trucks, two live bands and attracted nearly 4,500 people to Downtown Troy.

“We are very excited to once again be bringing the Food Truck Festival to Downtown Troy,” said Mayor Lou Rosamilia. “In addition to providing residents with a fun thing to do on a Friday night, events such as these attract many people from outside of the City of Troy, which provides a boost to many of our local businesses.”

In addition to the food trucks and vendors that will be participating in this year’s event, the festival has booked three live bands including Wild Adriatic, Connor Kennedy and Paranoid Social Club.

Admission to the Food Truck Festival of NY is free. Coolers and pets will not be permitted. Alcohol will only be permitted if purchased at the event.
