City Officials Issue Update for Citywide Spring Cleanup Program


Officials also announce temporary closure of Y-Lot parking lot for scheduled maintenance operations

TROY, NY – City officials today released an update to the annual spring street cleaning schedule for the City of Troy. Street cleaning operations for Wednesday, May 17, and Thursday, May 18 have been rescheduled to Monday, June 5, and Tuesday, June 6. The updated schedule is as follows:

Monday June 5 
7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
Odd Side: All Streets from Hoosick Street to Sage Ave, and from 8th Street to 17th Street, including Sherry Rd, McLeod Rd, Eaton Rd. and 19th Street

Tuesday June 6 
7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
Even Side: All Streets from Hoosick Street to Sage Ave, and from 8th Street to 17th Street, including Sherry Rd, McLeod Rd, Eaton Rd. and 19th Street 

Please contact the City of Troy’s Department of Public Works at (518) 270-4579 with any additional questions regarding this year’s Spring Cleanup program and schedule.

Additionally, Troy officials have announced that the Y-Lot, the municipal parking lot located on 1st Street between River Street and State Street, will be closed beginning Wednesday, May 17 for scheduled cleanup and maintenance operations. Y-Lot parking permit holders are asked to park in the State Street garage (located at the corner of State Street and River Street) until further notice. The Y-Lot will reopen when maintenance operations are complete.
