City Officials Announce Additional Property Tax Payment Options, Encourage Online Bill Pay

Treasurer’s Office Reminds Property Owners that 2nd Installment of 2020 Property Taxes is Due by Friday, July 31st

Payments can be Completed by Check, Money Order via Mail or Online at www.troyny.gov/pay

Off-Site Bill Payment Option Available for Troy Taxpayers at Knickerbacker Ice Arena on Four Dates in July

TROY, NY – In an effort to protect the health & safety of residents and employees, City officials are encouraging all property owners to utilize online bill pay options for 2nd installment of their property taxes and outstanding water bills, garbage bills, garbage violations and/or bulk trash bills. Deadline for payment of 2nd installment of 2020 property taxes is Friday, July 31st.

Payments can be completed by check or money order via mail or online at www.troyny.gov/pay. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, City Hall will remain closed to the public; in-person payments will not be available at City Hall until further notice.

Additionally, the City will offer four off-site bill payment days during the month of July for payment of 2nd installment of 2020 property taxes in the event payment cannot be made by mail or online. During designated days below, property owners can visit the Knickerbacker Ice Rink (191 103rd Street) to pay current property tax bills. Outstanding water/sewer or solid waste collection bills can also be paid during these events.

The program will be available on the following dates and times:

Friday, July 24th – 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday, July 29th – 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, July 30th – 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Friday, July 31st – 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
