City Officials: Garbage, Recycling Collection to Occur as Scheduled on MLK Jr. Holiday

TROY, NY – Public Works officials have announced that municipal garbage and recycling collection will proceed as scheduled on Monday, January 18th (Martin Luther King Jr. Day). Residents who normally receive Monday collection should place out garbage and recycling bins on Sunday night.

Mayor Madden reminds residents and property owners to keep sidewalks and curb ramps adjacent to their property free of obstacles when placing garbage and recycling bins out for collection. Cooperation from the public will help keep our community accessible to people of all ages and abilities.
