City Officials Issue Updated Garbage, Recycling Collection Schedule for Thanksgiving Holiday

TROY, NY – City officials have issued an updated collection schedule for garbage and recycling collection for Thursday, November 26th (Thanksgiving).

Municipal garbage and recycling scheduled for collection on Thursday, Nov. 26th is postponed until Friday, Nov. 27th. Residents who receive municipal collection on Thursday should place their garbage and recycling curbside Thursday evening for Friday collection.

Mayor Madden reminds residents and property owners to keep sidewalks adjacent to their property free of obstacles when placing garbage and recycling bins out for collection. Cooperation and assistance from the public will help keep our community accessible to people of all ages and abilities.
