Campbell and Spring Avenue Traffic and Pedestrian Safety Improvements

STATUS: Phase 1 Complete

Update: February 11, 2020

The first phase of traffic & pedestrian safety improvements on Campbell and Spring Avenue is complete, including site layout and installation of two traffic controller hand boxes. Work is expected to resume in approximately 5-6 weeks. Installation of new granite curbing and concrete ramps, sidewalks will begin as weather improves and necessary traffic signalization components arrive.

Contractor has mobilized all signage for lane shifts and construction zone. Digital signage has been deployed at the intersection of Spring and Pawling Avenues, as well as on Campbell Avenue near Fire Station #3 to notify drivers of the work zone and possible traffic delays.

Motorists should expect site conditions to remain the same during this time. We ask that drivers use caution when driving around construction cones and barrels outlining the lane shift at the Spring and Campbell Avenue intersection.
