Pools / Splash Pads
The South Troy swimming pool is open daily, from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. The pool is limited to Troy residents only. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Location: 4th Street, between Tyler Street and Harrison Street (MAP)

Free swimming lessons will be available for children at the South Troy pool this summer. Registration is required. For more information on swim lessons, or to register your child, please call the Department of Parks and Recreation at (518) 928-2609.
The Knickerbacker Pool remains closed due to safety and structural deficiencies.
Keep cool during the summer months and enjoy the City’s 6 spray pools located at these locations:
- Frear Park (MAP)
- Prospect Park (MAP)
- Corliss Park (MAP)
- Riverfront Park (MAP)
- Knickerbacker Park (MAP)
- South Troy Pool
These facilities will be open for public use from dawn to dusk for the 2020 summer season. Admission is free.
Temporary cooling stations will be available daily throughout the summer (weather permitting), from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., at several neighborhood locations.
