Troy Industrial Development Authority (IDA)
The Governor in Executive Order No. 202.1 (click here for full version) has temporarily modified the Open Meetings Law to allow meetings of public bodies to be held remotely by conference call or similar services. In light of the potential risks to public health and safety from the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the New York State Economic Development Council has recommended that all IDA’s replace in person open meetings with remote telephonic or other digital meetings until the crisis has passed.
As a result, the in-person IDA and CRC meetings will be held via zoom conference. The public may submit written comments in advance of the meeting by e-mail to [email protected].
The City of Troy IDA offers financial assistance to new and existing businesses and developers through a variety of tax abatement’s and incentives.
