The Frear Park Municipal Golf Course
was named the Upper Valley winner for best golf course
by Hudson Valley Magazine in 2003. It began as a
9-hole course in 1931 and later was expanded
to 18 holes in 1964. Currently the course provides
over 46,000 rounds of golf annually.
Golf Leagues and Tournaments - Twenty-seven
established leagues currently play at Frear Park including
20 men's, three seniors, three ladies and 1 mixed league.
Over 80 tournaments and golf outings will be held at
Frear Park throughout the season.
Resident ID and Season Passes – Starts late
March, every Monday thru Saturday 10 am to 4 pm. After
May 15th hours reduced to Wednesday and Saturday 10
am to 4 pm.
Reserve Tee Times
Reserved tee
times will be available on Saturday, Sundays, and holidays
until 2:00 p.m. by calling
235-8993. Reservations on a first call, first
served basis. Tee times taken on Thursday from 10 am
to 11am. Reservations for threesomes and foursomes
only will be taken. HOLIDAY reservations will
be taken the day before.

Recreational ID Card |
| To receive
a daily discount off greens fees residents must
have a once-a-year verification of residency. A
$5.00 fee is charged for this verification and
a picture ID card will be issued. ID cards issued
this year can be used again next year by getting
card revarified. A driver's license and cable TV
or telephone bill is used as varification of residency.
