Mayor Madden Announces Auction of City Surplus Equipment
Surplus vehicles, heavy duty trucks, paving machinery, plows, office equipment and furniture available for bid via online auction
Equipment auction begins Thursday, May 9th and continues through May 23rd
TROY, NY – Mayor Patrick Madden today announced the City of Troy will auction off surplus equipment from the Department of Public Works and Parks & Recreation. A variety of municipal vehicles, trucks, snow plows, office equipment and furniture is available for online bidding beginning today, Thursday, May 9th.
Mayor Madden said, “The auction of surplus vehicles and other equipment is a great opportunity for bargain hunters to purchase hard-to-find items, parts, and other tools at competitive prices. We encourage the public to take advantage of this month’s auction as Public Works and Parks & Recreation staff makes space for newer equipment at city facilities.”
Surplus equipment will be available for preview & inspection on Tuesday, May 21st, between 12:30pm – 1:30pm, and 2:00pm – 3:00pm.
