Mayor Madden Donates Blood, Encourages Troy Residents to Make Donation this Summer

TROY, NY – On Monday, June 22nd, Mayor Patrick Madden visited Franklin Plaza in downtown Troy to make his quarterly blood donation with the American Red Cross. The visit continues the mayor’s ongoing efforts to promote blood and platelet donations from healthy individuals to help patients of all ages.

The American Red Cross continues to encourage those able to donate to schedule an appointment to help patients in need of lifesaving blood. Each donation can help save three lives.

The public can schedule a blood donation by visiting www.redcrossblood.org
