TROY, NY – On July 30, 2018, Mayor Patrick Madden joined Police Chief Brian Owens, local, state and federal law enforcement officials, and members of the Troy Police Department for the final walkout of Captain Richard Sprague during a ceremony outside the department’s Central Station at 1700 6th Avenue. First joining the force on May 1st, 1978, Captain Sprague served over 40 years with the Troy Police Department.
