Troy's
Measured Walking Trails
Beginning in the Spring
of 1999 our Bureau of Parks and Recreation in connection
with TAP, Inc. (Troy Architectural Program) completed
work on four measured Walking Trails for your enjoyment
and use. The four trails cover the areas that include
Troy's beautiful Riverfront Park, the Troy Dock and
Marina, as well as our historic and architecturally
rich Downtown. The trails are marked with colorfully
designed symbols, measure from 0.7 to 1.15 miles in
length, and start and finish at the same point (for
your convenience).
Walkers are encouraged to "Take a
Breather" at one of
the seven historical markers that highlight the trails, or visit one of Dowtown
Troy's many fine retaurants as part of their walking experience.
We invite everyone
to "Take a Stroll" along
Troy's measured walking trails.
