Statement from Mayor Madden on Selection of Tomhannock Reservoir as Possible Drinking Water Source for Hoosick Falls

TROY, NY – Mayor Patrick Madden issued the following statement regarding the identification of the City of Troy’s Tomhannock Reservoir as a potential new water source for Hoosick Falls:

“The City of Troy is pleased with the selection of the Tomhannock Reservoir as a possible alternative water source for Hoosick Falls. Ultimately, it will be up to Hoosick Falls residents in coordination with NYSDEC to make a final decision, but we remain receptive to a possible partnership with our neighbors in Hoosick Falls to provide clean drinking water to their residents, families, and businesses.”
