TROY, NY – City officials have issued an updated traffic advisory for lane closures on Congress Street and 4th Street in downtown Troy for work associated with a private construction project at 100 Congress Street. Beginning Wednesday, April 24th, the left lane of Congress Street between 6th Avenue and 4th Street, and the right lane of 4th Street between Ferry Street and Congress Street, will be closed to vehicle traffic. The lane closures are anticipated to be in effect from April 24, 2019 – May 1, 2020.

Street parking will be maintained in the vicinity of the construction site. Traffic delays are expected. Motorists should reduce speeds, observe all posted signage, and use caution near work zones to ensure the safety of workers & pedestrians. 

The CDTA bus stop located at the intersection of Congress Street and 4th Street will be moved to the corner of State Street and 4th Street for the duration of construction.
