Troy City Hall Closed in Observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday

TROY, NY – City officials have announced that Troy City Hall will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2018, in observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and will reopen on Tuesday, January 16, at 8:30 a.m.

Municipal garbage and recycling collection will occur as normal. Bulk trash pickup will not be available on January 15. For additional information on municipal garbage collection, please contact the City of Troy Department of Public Works at (518) 270-4579.

Residents are reminded to keep sidewalks adjacent to their property free of obstacles when placing garbage and recycling bins out for collection to assist those with mobility issues, including the elderly and individuals with disabilities. Additionally, property owners are required to clear sidewalks adjacent to their property by 10:00 a.m. the day following the end of a snow storm. Clearing your sidewalk will keep our community accessible for residents of all ages & abilities and assist first responders during medical emergencies in your neighborhood.
