Troy Officials Issue Traffic Advisory for Burdett Avenue
Update (5:15 PM, July 11, 2018) – Burdett Avenue has been reopened to regular vehicle traffic.
TROY, NY – City officials have issued a traffic advisory for Burdett Avenue in the City of Troy, New York due to water utility repairs conducted by the Department of Public Utilities. Effective immediately, Tuesday, July 10, Burdett Avenue will be closed to regular vehicle traffic between Peoples Avenue and Sage Avenue. City crews are on scene and work is underway. Road closures will remain in effect until repair operations have been completed.
Motorists are asked to observe all posted traffic detours and seek alternate routes at this time. Local emergency services have been notified of the traffic restrictions and lane closures. The City of Troy thanks everyone for their patience at this time while Department of Public Utilities crews operate on Burdett Avenue.
