Troy Officials Issue Traffic Advisory for Burdett Avenue

TROY, NY – City officials have issued a traffic advisory for Burdett Avenue in the City of Troy for scheduled street resurfacing operations. Crews will be conducting milling & paving work on Burdett Avenue beginning Tuesday, August 22. Burdett Avenue between Sage Avenue and Sherry Road will be closed to regular vehicle traffic beginning Tuesday, August 22, from 7:00am until approximately 4:00pm. Operations are expected to take approximately two weeks to complete.

Motorists are asked to observe all posted traffic detour signs and to seek alternate routes while work is conducted. Local traffic will still be permitted and businesses in the vicinity of the work area remain open and accessible. Local emergency services have been notified of the traffic restrictions.
