Troy Officials Issue Update on Garbage, Recycling Collection for Independence Day Holiday

Regular municipal garbage & recycling collection to occur as scheduled for Friday, July 3rd, 2020

City Hall remains closed to the public due to health restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic

TROY, NY – City officials have announced City Hall will be closed on Friday, July 3rd, in observation of the Independence Day holiday, and will reopen on Monday, July 6th. Please note: due to the COVID-19 pandemic, City Hall remains closed to the public until further notice. For more info, visit www.troyny.gov/coronavirus

City garbage and recycling collection will occur as scheduled for Friday, July 3rd. Mayor Madden reminds residents and property owners to keep sidewalks adjacent to their property free of obstacles when placing garbage and recycling bins out for collection. Your cooperation and assistance will help keep our community accessible to people of all ages and abilities.
