City Hall Closed for Election Day and Veterans Day

Garbage, recycling collection to occur as scheduled Tuesday, November 8th and Friday, November 11th

TROY, NY – City officials have announced that City Hall will be closed on Tuesday, November 8th, in observation of Election Day and Friday, November 11th, in observation of Veterans Day.

Weekly garbage and recycling collection will occur as scheduled on Tuesday and Friday; bagged leaf/brush collection and street cleaning will be suspended.

Mayor Madden reminds residents and property owners to keep sidewalks and curb ramps adjacent to their home or property free of obstacles when placing garbage and recycling bins out for collection. Public cooperation will help keep our community accessible to people of all ages and abilities.
