City Hall Closed for Election Day, Veterans Day

City Hall Closed for Election Day, Veterans Day

TROY, NY – City officials have announced City Hall will be closed on Tuesday, November 5th, in observation of Election Day and will reopen Wednesday, November 6th, at 8:30 a.m.

Municipal garbage and recycling collection is postponed for Tuesday, November 5th. Residents who receive municipal collection on Tuesday should place their garbage and recycling curbside Tuesday evening for Wednesday collection. Bulk collection will also not be available.

City Hall will also be closed on Monday, November 11th, in observation of Veterans Day and will reopen Tuesday, November 12th, at 8:30 a.m. Regular garbage and recycling collection will occur as normal on Monday, November 11th.

Mayor Madden reminds residents and property owners to keep sidewalks adjacent to their property free of obstacles when placing garbage and recycling bins out for collection. Your cooperation and assistance will help keep our community accessible to people of all ages and abilities.
