TROY, NY – City officials have announced City Hall will be closed on Monday, September 2nd, in observation of the Labor Day holiday and will reopen Tuesday, September 3rd, at 8:30 a.m.
Municipal garbage and recycling collection is postponed on Monday, September 2nd. Residents who receive municipal collection on Monday should place their garbage and recycling curbside on Monday evening for Tuesday collection. Any garbage and recycling not collected on Tuesday will be collected on Wednesday, September 4th. Bulk collection will not be available on Monday, September 2nd.
Mayor Madden reminds residents and property owners to keep sidewalks adjacent to their property free of obstacles when placing garbage and recycling bins out for collection. Your cooperation and assistance will help keep our community accessible to people of all ages and abilities.
