TROY, NY (November 23, 2022) – City officials have announced that City Hall will be closed on Thursday, November 24th, and Friday, November 25th, in observation of the Thanksgiving holiday, and will reopen Monday, November 28th, at 8:30 a.m.
Municipal garbage and recycling collection scheduled for Thursday, November 24th, will be picked up on Friday, November 25th. Normal garbage and recycling collection will occur on Friday. Bulk waste, bagged leaves, and brush collection will be suspended on Thursday and Friday.
The Troy Resource Management Facility (formerly The Alamo) will be closed for materials drop-off on Thursday, November 24th.
Mayor Madden reminds residents and property owners to keep sidewalks and curb ramps adjacent to their property free of obstacles when placing garbage and recycling bins out for collection. Cooperation from the public will help keep our community accessible to people of all ages and abilities.
