City of Troy Remembers Ayshawn Davis

On Monday, November 15th, the City of Troy held a special ceremony at 6th Avenue Park to memorialize Ayshawn Davis, an 11-year old Troy resident who was tragically killed by illegal gunfire on September 13th, 2020. A Japanese Zelkova tree was planted and memorial plaque was unveiled to honor Ayshawn’s life.

Mayor Madden joined Ayshawn’s family, including parents Latoya Alston and Tarrance Davis, Police Chief Daniel DeWolf, local officials, and business owner Steven Bouchey to memorialize Ayshawn and dedicate the tree in his honor.
