City Officials Announce Additional Dates for In-Person Payment of Property Taxes, Water Bills
Property owners can schedule an appointment to pay property taxes and water bills at City Hall on February 5th, 19th, and 22nd
Masks will be required for all in-person payments
Deadline for payment of 1st installment of 2021 property taxes extended to February 21st

TROY, NY – City officials have announced three additional dates for in-person payment of property taxes at City Hall in February. The City Treasurer’s Office will accept payments by appointment only on February 5th, 19th, and 22nd. Mayor Madden previously announced an extension of the deadline for payment of first installment of 2021 property tax payments for 21 days. The final date for payment of taxes without interest or penalty is February 21st.
Appointments can be scheduled for the designated dates between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Each appointment will be approximately 30 minutes, and will be limited to one adult per transaction. Accommodations will be available for those who need assistance of additional person. Property owners can schedule an appointment by sending an email to [email protected].
Masks will be required at all times during the appointment. Walk-ins to City Hall will not be permitted. Cleaning protocols will be in place between appointments. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, City Hall remains closed to the public. The only business that can be conducted during designated payment dates is with the Treasurer’s Office; other City departments will not be accessible.
In-person payments can also be made at the Knickerbacker Ice Rink (location change) located at 191 103rd St. on Friday, February
1st 12th (please note new date), from 10:00 am to 2:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary to make a payment during this event.
Property owners planning to pay by check are strongly encouraged to complete their transaction via mail or online at www.troyny.gov/pay.
