City Officials: Boil Water Order Lifted for Troy, North Greenbush, Brunswick
TROY, NY – City officials today announced that the Rensselaer County Department of Health has lifted the boil water order for customers affected in the City of Troy, and the towns of Brunswick and North Greenbush effective immediately, Tuesday, January 16.
The Rensselaer County Department of Health has received sufficient water sample results to indicate that no harmful bacteria are in the water system and residents no longer need to boil their water. Customers who continue to experience pressure problems or discoloration of water are urged to contact their local water supplier.
