City Officials Issue Traffic Advisory for 4th Street

TROY, NY – City officials have issued a traffic advisory for a road closure on 4th Street for construction activity. Beginning 7:00am, Wednesday, June 26th, 4th Street between Ferry Street and Congress Street will be closed to vehicle traffic. The road closure will is expected to remain in effect through Thursday, June 27th.

During construction, access to the 4th Street Parking lot, located on the corner of 4th and Ferry Streets, will be limited to property/business owners/employees and authorized vehicles only. Vehicles will not be able to exit north onto 4th Street, and will be redirected south to Ferry Street. Sidewalks in the vicinity of the road closure will remain open and accessible for pedestrians.

Traffic delays are expected. Motorists should observe posted detours and use caution near the work zone to ensure the safety of workers & pedestrians.
