City Officials Issue Traffic Advisory for Parking Restrictions for Film Production

TROY, NY (February 1, 2022) – City officials have issued a traffic advisory for parking restrictions associated with a film production in the South Central, Little Italy, and Washington Park neighborhoods beginning Wednesday, February 2nd.

Parking restrictions will be in effect for the following streets beginning 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 2nd, through Friday, February 4th, at 10:00 p.m.:

  • Adams Street, from Hill Street to 1st Street (both sides)

Parking restrictions will be in effect for the following streets beginning 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 2nd, through 12:00 p.m., Friday, February 4th:

  • 4th Street, between Adams Street and Washington Street, including north half block between Adams St and Jefferson St.
  • Adams Street, between 2nd Street and Hill Street 

Intermittent road closures will be in effect between 7:30am-11:30am for the following streets during the same period:

  • Intersection of 4th St and Adams St., including both sides of Adams St.
  • Intersection of 4th St and Jefferson St. ITC 4th St.

Parking restrictions will be in effect for the following streets beginning 12:00 p.m., Thursday, February 3rd, through Friday, February 4th, at 10:00 p.m.:

  • Washington Place between 2nd St and 3rd St
  • 3rd St between Washington Street and Adams Street
  • 2nd St between Washington Place and Adams Street

Intermittent road closures will be in effect between 10:00am-10:00pm for the following streets during the same period:

  • Intersection of Washington Place and 3rd St.

Motorists should observe all traffic detours and posted parking restrictions.

Residents and businesses on impacted streets have been directly notified of parking restrictions and road closures. Local emergency services have been notified of traffic restrictions.
