City Officials Issue Traffic Advisory for Road Closures, Parking Restrictions for Film Production
TROY, NY – City officials have issued a traffic advisory for parking restrictions and road closures associated with a film production in downtown Troy beginning Monday, September 21st.
The production will involve daily street closures from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. starting on Monday, September 21st, through Wednesday, September 23rd:
- 2nd Street between State Street and River Street
- Broadway between 3rd Street and River Street
- River Street between 3rd Street and State Street
- Intermittent traffic flow may be permitted on September 22nd, 23rd
Parking restrictions will also be in effect for the same period (Sept. 21 – 23) in the vicinity of the road closures. Motorists should observe all traffic detours and posted parking restrictions.
Additionally, the Front Street parking lot will be closed for permitted parking. Permit holders can park in the 5th Avenue Garage, Green Island Lot and State Street Garage. For parking locations, please visit www.troyny.gov/parking
Residents and businesses on impacted streets have been directly notified of parking restrictions and road closures. Local businesses and residences will remain accessible to pedestrian traffic during the filming. Local emergency services have been notified of traffic restrictions.
