Electronics Waste Collection

Electronics do not belong in curbside trash and recycling bins. To dispose of your broken or non-functioning electronics, schedule a bulk-pickup with our Department of Public Works Dispatcher, or bring them to an electronics disposal event.

2022 Electronics Waste Disposal Event

Date: Saturday, September 10, 2022
Location: Troy Resource Management Facility (former Alamo site) located at the corner of E. Industrial Parkway and Main Street.

Troy residents can bring electronics from the accepted materials list, as well as tires, or paper for shredding.

Please note: Each registrant may bring one television or computer up to 25 pounds at no charge. For every additional 5 pounds, there will be a $5 charge.

In addition, there is a disposal fee for tires:

    • Bicycle: $1 / tire
    • Passenger vehicle: $5 / tire
    • All other tires (size dependent): $10 – $100

This service is free for Troy residents.  Advanced registration is required. A confirmation email will be sent approximately one week before the event with your scheduled time slot.
