TROY, NY (August 1, 2022) – Thirteen city-owned properties will be open for public inspection on Wednesday, August 3rd, part of the city’s annual foreclosed properties open house program. Mayor Patrick Madden today announced the return of the popular program for 2022. The event will be held in two sessions, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., and 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Mayor Madden said, “We’re pleased to again offer interested buyers a chance to explore available city-owned foreclosed properties this August. The sale of these properties helps return inactive buildings to productive use, stabilize neighborhoods, and grow our city’s tax base. We encourage the public to take advantage of this opportunity to view buildings available for purchase in our community.”
