TROY, NY – In response to the City’s successful foreclosed property open house event held last summer, Mayor Patrick Madden today announced the City of Troy will open to the public 14 city-owned foreclosed properties currently available for sale through the City Assessor’s office. The annual open house event will be held during two sessions on Tuesday, July 24, from 9:00am until 10:30am, and 11:00am until 12:30pm.
Mayor Madden said, “The resale of foreclosed properties not only restores buildings to active use which helps stabilize Troy neighborhoods impacted by blight and vacancy, it expands the local tax base and provides new revenue to the city.
