TROY, NY – On August 4, 2018, Mayor Patrick Madden joined YWCA of the Greater Capital Region Board President Bridget McGivern and Executive Director Daquetta Jones for the organization’s Jamison-Rounds “Ready for Work” program graduation ceremony, a 12-week economic empowerment program that provides women with vocational training to secure a permanent job. Mayor Madden congratulated the graduates & participants for their willingness to make positive changes in their lives and expressed his confidence in their ability to take the next step in their journey toward success and personal growth.
