In response, I am directing the Troy Fire Department to activate cooling stations at neighborhood locations to help families & children beat the summer heat. Residents should also take precautions if they are planning to work or spend time outdoors. Remember to drink water to stay hydrated, limit your time outside, and seek air-conditioned spaces during the warmest periods of the day.”
