UPDATE: Mobile Sprinkler Sites Available through Monday, August 8th

TROY, NY (August 2, 2022 / UPDATED August 5, 2022) – With potential for hot temperatures later this week, Mayor Patrick Madden has announced mobile sprinkler sites will be deployed Wednesday and Thursday (1PM – 7PM) to provide additional locations for Troy families to keep cool this week.

Mobile sprinklers will be provided by the Troy Fire Department at the following locations through Monday, August 8th, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.:

Intersection of 113th Street and 4th Avenue
(Adjacent to Lansingburgh Boys and Girls Club)

Little Italy
5th Avenue, Liberty and Hill Streets
(Little Italy Market Place)

South Troy
3rd Street and Canal Avenue
(Canal Street Park)

The South Troy Swimming Pool is open daily for swimming from 1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Admission to the pool is free, and access is limited to Troy residents only. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

City-operated splash pads will also be open at various city parks from sunrise to sunset. For more info and locations, visit www.troyny.gov/pools
