Traffic Advisory Issued for High St

TROY, NY (September, 13 2022) – City officials have issued a traffic advisory for High St between the Troy – Menands Bridge and Mill St. Crews will be milling and paving the roadway.

On Thursday, September 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., crews will be milling High St between the Troy – Menands Bridge and Mill St.

On Friday, September 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., crews will continue milling work on High St between the Troy – Menands Bridge and Mill St.

On Saturday, September 17, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., crews will be paving all of High St between the Troy – Menands Bridge and Mill St.

High St will be open in both directions at all times, but traffic delays are expected.  Morrison Ave between Vandenburgh Ave and High St will be open to local traffic only.  Vehicles will be detoured down Vandenburgh Ave to Mill St to High St.  Vehicles coming down Stow Ave to High St will be detoured up Morrison Ave to Vandenburgh Ave to Mill St to High St.    

Traffic delays are expected. Motorists are asked to reduce speeds, follow posted detours, watch for flaggers, and use caution in the work zone to keep workers safe. Local emergency services have been notified of traffic restrictions.
