Traffic Advisory: Road Closures, Parking Restrictions for Film Production

TROY, NY (July 28, 2022) – City officials have issued a traffic advisory for parking restrictions and road closures associated with a multi-week film production in the Collar City.

Motorists are asked to reduce speeds and observe all posted traffic detours. Residents and businesses on impacted streets have been directly notified of, and are reminded to observe, all posted parking restrictions. Residents are also advised that there may be intermittent times with limited access to areas due to scenes being filmed. The City of Troy thanks the impacted residents and businesses for their patience and cooperation during the film production process.

Road Closures

Road closures will be in effect for the following streets on Monday, August 1st, and Tuesday, August 2nd, from 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.:

  • 3rd Street between Liberty and Adams Streets
  • Washington Street between 2nd Street and 4th Street

Road closures will be in effect for the following streets for Wednesday, August 3rd, from 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.:

  • 3rd Street between Liberty and Adams Streets
  • Washington Street between 1st Street and 4th Street

Road closures will be in effect for the following streets for Wednesday, August 3rd, beginning at 12:00 p.m.:

  • 2nd Street between Division Street and Adams Street
  • Grand Street between 6th Avenue and 4th Street

Road closures will be in effect for the following streets for Thursday, August 4th, from 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.:

  • 2nd Street between Washington Street and Division Street
  • Grand Street between 6th Avenue and 4th Street

Road closures will be in effect for the following streets for Friday, August 5th, from 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.:

  • 5th Avenue between Federal Street and Fulton Street
  • Grant Street between 6th Avenue and 5th Avenue

Road closures will be in effect for the following streets for Saturday, August 6th, from 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.:

  • Grant Street between 6th Avenue and 5th Avenue

Parking Restrictions

Parking restrictions will be in effect for the following streets beginning July 29th – August 4th:

  • 3rd Street (north side) between Washington Place – Washington Street

Parking restrictions will be in effect for the following streets beginning July 31st – August 4th, from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.:

  • 3rd Street (both sides) between Liberty – Jefferson Streets
  • Adams Street (both sides) from 2nd St Alley – 4th Street
  • 2nd Street (both sides) between Adams – Liberty Streets
  • Washington Street (both sides) between 2nd St Alley – 4th Street
  • Washington Place (both sides) between 2nd Street – 3rd Street

Parking restrictions will be in effect for the following streets beginning August 1st – August 3rd, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 a.m.:

  • 2nd Street (both sides) between Liberty – Ferry Streets

Parking restrictions will be in effect for the following streets beginning August 2nd – August 5th, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 a.m.:

  • 2nd Street (both sides) between Liberty – Division Streets  

Parking restrictions will be in effect for the following streets beginning August 3rd – August 6th, from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

  • 5th Avenue (both sides) between Broadway – Grand Streets

Parking restrictions will be in effect for the following streets beginning August 4th – August 6th, from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.:

  • Grand Street (both sides) between 5th – 6th Avenues from 8:00 a.m., August 4th – 6:00 p.m., August 6th

Parking restrictions will be in effect for the following streets beginning August 4th – August 6th, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.:

  • 5th Avenue (both sides) between Broadway – Federal Street
  • Broadway (both sides) from Williams St Alley – 6th Avenue
  • Fulton Street (both sides) between 4th Street – 6th Avenue
  • Williams Street Alley (both sides) between Fulton – Grand Streets
