Traffic Advisory: Road Closures, Parking Restrictions for Film Production

TROY, NY (May 25, 2021) – City officials have issued a traffic advisory for parking restrictions and road closures beginning Wednesday, May 26th, associated with a film production. A map of impacted streets is available here.

Road closures will be in effect for the following streets beginning 4:00 pm, Wednesday, May 26th through Friday, May 28th:

  • 2nd Street, between Broadway and Congress Street

Parking restrictions will be in effect for the following streets beginning 4:00 pm, Wednesday, May 26th through Friday, May 28th:

  • State Street, between 4th Street and 1st Street
  • Congress Street, between 3rd Street and 1st Street
  • Broadway, between 4th Street and 3rd Street

The Y-Lot Parking Lot is also closed for the same time period. Alternate parking arrangements have been established for impacted permit holders. Additional public parking is available for residents and merchants at the Russell Sage Lot, located at 1st and Congress Street. Motorists are asked to reduce speeds and observe all posted traffic detours. Additional road closures and parking restrictions will be announced in the coming days.

Residents and businesses on impacted streets have been directly notified of, and are reminded to observe, all posted parking restrictions. The City of Troy thanks the impacted residents and businesses for their patience and assistance during the filming production process.
