Traffic Advisory: Snow Removal on Congress Street, 4th Street

Traffic Advisory Issued for Snow Removal on Congress Street, 4th Street

TROY, NY – City officials have issued a traffic advisory for snow removal operations on Congress Street and 4th Street in coordination with New York State Department of Transportation. Beginning Wednesday, December 4, at 8:00 a.m., crews will be operating on Congress Street/Brunswick Road between S. Lake Avenue and 6th Avenue, and on 4th Street between Main Street and Ferry Street. Operations are expected to continue throughout Wednesday.

Delays could be possible during morning and evening commute. Motorists are asked to reduce speeds, watch for flaggers, and exercise caution near the work zone to ensure the safety of workers & pedestrians.

A Snow Emergency remains in effect for the City of Troy. Beginning Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at 8:00 a.m., all vehicles must be parked on the ODD-numbered side of designated Snow Emergency streets for 24 hours. For more info, visit
