Troy Officials Issue Traffic Advisory for Sherman Avenue, Morrison Avenue
TROY, NY – City officials have issued a traffic advisory for Morrison Avenue in the City of Troy for scheduled public utility maintenance operations. Morrison Avenue between High Street/Route 378 and Vandenburgh Avenue will be closed to regular vehicle traffic on Thursday, November 30, beginning at 6:30 am. The road is expected to reopen on Thursday, November 30, at approximately 9:30 am.
Additionally, city officials have issued a traffic advisory for Sherman Avenue in the City of Troy for scheduled road paving operations. Sherman Avenue between Campbell Avenue and Sheridan Avenue will be closed to regular vehicle traffic on Thursday, November 30, and Friday, December 1, beginning at 8:00 am until approximately 4:30 pm. Campbell Avenue will remain open to regular vehicle traffic during paving operations on Sherman Avenue.
Motorists are asked to watch for flaggers, observe all posted traffic detour signs and seek alternate routes while utility and paving operations are underway. Local traffic will still be permitted in the vicinity of the work areas. Local emergency services have been notified of the traffic restrictions.
