Troy Police Announce Arrest in August Shooting Homicide
TROY, NY – Deputy Police Chief Daniel DeWolf issued the following announcement regarding the arrest of a suspect in the Zeondre Domingo homicide investigation:
“The Troy Police Department is reporting that an arrest has been made in the shooting death of 23-year old Zeondre Domingo of Troy. Zeondre was shot in the early evening of August 17th near the intersection of Adams and 4th streets.
“Detectives devoted much time and effort to this investigation and with the aid of partner law enforcement agencies built a solid case to present to the District Attorney. The Rensselaer County District Attorney’s office presented the case to a Grand Jury resulting in the Indictment of 20-year old Nahsone Pinn of Troy.
“Yesterday (Monday, December 7th) at around 3:20 PM , Pinn was located near 9th and Rensselaer streets by Troy Detectives and members of the FBI Safe Streets Task Force. He was taken into custody without incident and held for arraignment this date. Pinn was arraigned today in Rensselaer County Court on one count each of Murder 2nd degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree. He was remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail without bail.
