TROY, NY — On Tuesday, August 4th, MVP Health Care, CDPHP, and Quick Response donated two Defense Soap Cordless Electrostatic Backpack and Hand Sprayers to the Troy Police and Fire Departments. Each sprayer provides up to 23,000 square feet of disinfectant in a single tank, and will be used to clean equipment, vehicles, and facilities and help protect employee health against COVID-19.

The sprayers were delivered during an event at the Troy Fire Department’s Central Fire Station. Mayor Madden joined Fire Chief Eric McMahon, Police Chief Brian Owens, and representatives from MVP Health Care, CDPHP, and Quick Response, who provided a demonstration of the equipment.

Video from the event is available on the City’s official YouTube and Facebook pages.

The cities of Albany and Schenectady will also receive sanitation equipment through the joint initiative between MVP Health Care, CDPHP, and Quick Response.
