TROY, N.Y. – Troy Parks & Recreation announced that the South Troy Pool will close at 3PM on Tuesday, August 22 2023 for a private repast in memory of the late lifeguard, NA'Heim Burbridge.
While we are alerting the public and the media because Troy’s public pool will be unavailable to the public, we ask that the media respect the privacy of the Burbridge family and gathered mourners.
The pool will reopen for normal operations again on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
The South Troy Pool will close for the 2023 season upon closing on Friday, August 25, 2023.
The City of Troy partners with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area to employ lifeguards for the South Troy Pool.
