TROY, NY (June 28) – Mayor Carmella Mantello announced today that the South Troy Pool will officially open for the season tomorrow, Saturday, June 29 at 1pm.
“We are so excited to announce the opening of the South Troy Pool for the season,” said Mayor Mantello. “The South Troy Pool is more than a pool, providing families with a place to make lasting memories and unite our community.”
Open swim hours are daily from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Meals will be provided free of charge to our youth starting Monday, July 1st and will be available weekdays from 12:30 to 1:30.
“Thank you to the City of Troy staff, Rensselaer County and the Troy Boys and Girls Club for their collaboration on this endeavor,” Mayor Mantello continued. “Our administration continues working to provide safe places for kids and families to recreate and enjoy Troy.”
In addition to the public pool, the City has various splash pads throughout the community to help youth have fun outside while combatting the heat:
