TROY, N.Y. – Bad Taste Video, LLC will continue production of their independent film “FLAPJAX” in the City of Troy, resulting in the need to close and curtail parking access on the block of 2nd Street from Jefferson Street to Adams Street between the hours of 9AM and midnight on September 2.

The producers have obtained city permits and all necessary permissions, and committed to adhere to the guidelines set forth by the the City of Troy to ensure a safe and efficient filming process. Production of “FLAPJAX” was previously located at Ted’s Fish Fry in Lansingburgh and will shoot at the Schenectady Armory.
Bad Taste Video, LLC is a small, Brooklyn-based production company that has been living and working in the City of Troy for the past month, patronizing local restaurants and businesses, promoting indie films in the region, and working to train local workers interested in assisting with the film production.
In a bulletin posted to neighborhood front doors, Bad Taste Video, LLC notes that residents may notice increased activity, including the arrangement of equipment, props, and vehicles. Traffic control measures will be implemented to minimize disruptions, and intermittent traffic delays may occur. The production crew resolves to promptly restore the area to its original condition upon the completion of filming and will work diligently to ensure a smooth operation. However, neighbors may experience increased noise levels and temporary pedestrian diversions.
Bad Taste Video, LLC has requested the cooperation of the community during this film shoot. The production company is committed to minimizing disruptions and completing the shoot with professionalism.
