Mayor Mantello Hires Dylan Spring as City Comptroller

Troy, NY – Mayor Carmella Mantello has named Dylan Spring as Troy’s new City Comptroller. Spring joined the administration on Monday, February 12th and will oversee all financial reporting and accounting for the city.

“We are excited to welcome Dylan Spring to Troy as our city’s new Comptroller,” said Mayor Carmella Mantello. “Dylan brings a tremendous amount of experience from the financial and budgeting community, and we are thrilled that he has joined our team. I look forward to working with him to keep the City of Troy on strong financial ground.”

Spring comes from the City of Albany, where he served as the Chief Financial Manager for the Department of General Services for the past three years. He also worked at the New York State Comptroller’s office as a state program examiner in supervising and auditing roles. Spring is a Renssalear County native and he attended Sage College in Albany, graduating with a degree in business administration.

“I’m happy to join Mayor Mantello’s administration and work on behalf of the residents of Troy,” said Dylan Spring, Acting Comptroller. “This is a great opportunity for me, and I intend to work hard to ensure that I am fighting to serve the people of Troy each and every day. This position in Mayor Mantello's Administration will allow me to use my financial ability in the City of Troy.

Spring becomes the first comptroller in Mayor Mantello’s administration. He will oversee all 2024 budgetary items.
