TROY, N.Y. – The City of Troy Department of Public Utilities (DPU) announced that the portion of Oakwood Avenue stretching from Farrell Road to Frear Park Road will be closed on Saturday, September 16th, from 6AM to 4 PM to repair a water service line leak. The road will be repaired and reopened once work is complete.
The traffic circle on Frear Park Road will remain open, but the road exiting the circle toward Oakwood Ave will be barricaded. Local traffic will be able to get in and out of their homes.
Commuters should expect to encounter roadwork in the area and are encouraged to seek alternate routes of travel if possible. Drivers are reminded to take care in construction zones.
