TROY, N.Y. – The City of Troy Department of Public Utilities (DPU) announced that, in response to leaking water infrastructure, they will be closing the portion of 15th Street from Hoosick Street to Hutton Street for repair work on October 20. 15th Street will be closed from 7AM until either 4PM or until repairs are completed, whichever is sooner.
No boil water advisory has been issued at this time. DPU does not anticipate an interruption of water service to the neighborhood during repair work.
Motorists and commuters should plan alternate routes of travel and mind any posted parking restrictions.
