Pride & LGBTQIA+ Resources
A word from Christopher Nolin,
Deputy Mayor of the City of Troy
We have much to celebrate during Pride month—especially our own resilience—but our work is far from over. Queer neighbors are at a greater risk of experiencing violence, mental health conditions and other hazards year-round. And there are many among us who are still unable to come out.
As your first out gay deputy mayor, I know you are motivated by a deep desire to do the right thing, care for one another and live in an inclusive community. The love we show one another is the source of our greatest strength and at the very heart of our "Enjoy Troy" ethos.
As a community we have strived, mourned and celebrated together, and it is together that we must continue to endeavor towards a better world.
I look forward to seeing you in our neighborhoods—not just during Pride but all year long!
Warmly,
Christopher Nolin
Deputy Mayor

Representation matters.
To commemorate Pride Month, the City of Troy has made a series of Pride-themed "TROY.NY" logos available for download for non-commercial use. Click here to access the full TROY.NY Pride Collection.
Our neighbors have many different gender and sexual orientations. We encourage you to use the png files of the logos you identify with on social media and in personal projects of self-expression.
