Bulk Trash Collection
Bulk pickup will RESUME effective April 1, 2023. Please schedule your bulk trash pick up to avoid penaties and charges.

Bulk items are oversized items for curbside pickup such as furniture, appliances, carpets, tires, TVs, and mattresses. Tires will be picked up from residential properties only. There will be no pick up of tires from commercial properties.
Items We Do Not Pickup
- The City of Troy does not pickup construction debris. We suggest that for these materials, you contact a dumpster company or a private pickup company. Any construction or demolition material set out to the curb for pickup is considered illegal disposal in the City of Troy.
- The City of Troy does not pick up dirt, rocks, bricks, cinder blocks, sand or concrete.

Schedule a Pickup
A pickup must be scheduled for pick up of all bulk items. If a pickup is not scheduled and items are placed curbside or in the alley, the owner of the property will be subject to a removal charge and a penalty for violating city code Section 188-3 Littering.

Do Not Put Items Out Early
Do not put items out early. Items cannot be put out until after 6 p.m. the night before your confirmed scheduled pickup date. Doing so will violate City Code Section 188-3 Littering and you may be assessed a fine.
